Product Benefits
Diethylamine is an important organic synthesis intermediate and solvent, with broad applications across the three major fields of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and new materials. In the pharmaceutical field, it is a key intermediate for the synthesis of local anesthetics such as procaine and lidocaine, as well as drugs including chloroquine and nikethamide, and can also serve as a formulation pH adjuster for dosage forms such as injections and ophthalmic preparations. In the agrochemical field, it is an important intermediate for the herbicides thiobencarb and napropamide, and the insecticide pyrimiphos. In the new materials field, it is used in the production of dyes, rubber vulcanization accelerators, ore dressing reagents, textile auxiliaries, and corrosion inhibitors.
